In keeping with past years, the 12 Annual Truman Trot 5K is presented free of cost, courtesy of the City of Independence Parks | Recreation | Tourism and Health and Animal Services departments and our community sponsors, Midwest Pool Management, Bass Pro Shops, Cigna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield Kansas City and CBIZ.

The race begins at 8 a.m. on May 5, 2024, with a kids' dash scheduled to follow at 9 a.m.
Packet pick-up will be held on Friday, May 3rd, 2024, at the Independence Uptown Market (211 W. Truman Rd, Independence, MO 64050)
Awards will be given to:
Top Overall Male and Female
Top Masters Male and Female Finisher
Top Three Male and Female Age Groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+
