8th Annual "Power Palooza"
Description:
10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Spend a cold Saturday in February at the Carnival. Bring the whole family and enjoy the festive atmosphere at Power Palooza. Play carnival games, get your face painted, watch a puppet show, bounce around in the inflatables and enjoy cotton candy. Purchase tickets at the door for the games and activities.
A fund raiser sponsored by the Powerhouse Theatre Foundation to benefit the Powerhouse Theatre.

Amazing African American Art
Description:
10:00 am - 12:00 pm. $10 per person. Children's Art Workshop - Have a marvelous time sculpting, painting, creating, and exporing the world of African American Art. Your instructor, Sarah Poff, has taught workshops in Blue Springs and the greater Kansas City area for over 25 years. She also teaches art in the Blue Springs School District. Mrs. Poff usually comes dressed for the occasion and encourages participants to wear appropriate clothing as some projects are fun, but messy! Advance reservations are required.
